Assembly Operative

An established Engineering and Electronics manufacturing company near Lewes are looking for an Assembly Operative to join them. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours a week 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Job duties: * Using attention to detail to assemble and build signs * Following relevant production procedures, standards and reading engineering documentation * Using hand tools including crimp tools, wire strippers, powered screwdrivers * Hand soldering, cable preparation and crimping * Occasionally inspecting or testing products Skills and experience required: * Strong attention to detail * Willing to learn and progress in a manufacturing and production environment * An interest in technical, electronics, electrical or similar manufacturing sectors is preferred * Previous experience in manufacturing or a warehouse environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training is offered * Own transport is essential due to location Company benefits: * 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays rising with service * Private Medical scheme * Pension scheme * Free parking Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
